NOTA has adopted information technologies very early - we issue invoices through our software system since 1985. However, we waited long before deciding to change our legacy system to Soft1 ERP that finally happened in 2007.

The company faces a disproportionate to its size complexity as it operates to more than one countries and it involves production, exports, wholesale, and retail processes. Moreover, NOTA has retail shops and shops-in-a-shop in shopping centers while it distributes a significant portfolio of brands in the Greek market. At the same time, NOTA’s products management generate important IT challenges as for example one model can have 75 individual SKUs due to its colors, sizes and cups.

With Soft1 ERP we dealt with all these requirements effectively, whereas the transition from the legacy system that occurred in the middle of the financial year was remarkable. Despite the complexity, it took us only 3 days to transfer all the data from the old system and to issue the first document from Soft1. At the same time, we utilized the important capabilities of the new system connecting online our retail shops via VPN and our shops-in-a-shop via UMTS.

After almost 3 years of having installed Soft1 ERP at NOTA I am convinced that our choice was the best for the company in terms of cost and benefit. Recently, a project through which Soft1 ERP gained the ability to manage IT documents based on XML/UBL (Universal Business Language) was completed.
